-xml output option gives invalid charactars

Description

The --xml output a nice idea. But the problem is that it seems that charactars in word files gives and invalid --xml file. Thus some filtering is necessary.
Or the option to get an --xml file with only fields given in the --fields option , not as know always the entire record.

do you have a particular example which will fail the resulting XML output..may be you have an example document which will produce that problem?
